A LIFE OF DOMINION

TEXT: 1 JOHN 5:4, GEN. 1:26-28

“ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over everything that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over every living thing that moved upon the earth. (GEN. 1:26-28)”  

To dominate is to rule; to overcome; to conquer; to subdue; to be in charge. In 1 John 5:4, John was not prophesying, he was affirming the life we have in Christ. A life of dominion over satan and his agents, the world and its system. The Christian is unconquerable; he is a victor on every count; he is born into the freedom life and can never fail.

Beloved! I speak to you that you have already being empowered to dominate in this year 2020.

“And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you (Luke 10:9)”

“They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:18)”. According to the above scriptures, God designed man to govern. In otherwords, man was created to dominate. Dominion is man’s destiny; his emotions go haywire. However, dominion for man is conditioned upon his alignment to God. We must also put on that dominion consciousness. That consciousness tells you that the closed door can be open, the contract can be received, the marriage is possible, your financial status can change for the better.

You must go through this year with a positive mindset of dominance. Don’t let the world turn you down. Don’t let situation of life dictate for you. your life is fashioned from the beginning of time to be on top. So, take possession of your divine heritage and your year will produce sweetness in all areas of life. Prov. 4:8

PRAYER POINTS

1. 1:28, O Lord, I tap and release the full extent of dominion within me in Jesus name.
2. I decree and declare that I build, walk and fly in dominion in the name of Jesus.
3. I decree and declare that I have dominion over all bondage caused by my enemies and I break their yokes off my neck in Jesus name.
4. 1 Kings 4:24, I decree and declare that like Solomon, I have dominion over kings and I have peace all around me in Jesus name.
5. Judges 5:13, I decree and declare that I have dominion over nobility and those that are mighty to do evil in Jesus name.
