SHILOH

The word, Shiloh is a Hebrew word which means “to be secured, to be in tranquility and to be at rest.

Shiloh is a place you go to take refuge from the storms of life; a place you go and rest and have restoration of your strength to be able to go through the pitfalls of the next endeavour.

Shiloh is a place you are given your portion in life. It was at Shiloh that the last seven tribes of Israel recovered their inheritance.

“And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the Lord in Shiloh. [9] And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh. And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the Lord: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions”. Joshua 18:8-10

It is a place where denial gives way to divine restoration; a place where you are given your dues and things that Christ purchased for you by His death.

It is a place where you enter into your completeness. Anything that has made your life incomplete gives way to completeness when you encounter the God of Shiloh. It was at Shiloh that the 400 virgins were brought as wives for the men of Benjamin who had survived the war.  Judges 21:12 

Shiloh is a place where individual prayers are answered. Hannah went to Shiloh with an empty womb and came back with a prophet and a priest (I Sam.1:5,19-20).

The God of Shiloh is arising this year with the outpouring of the oil of favour and mercy to cause you to manifest your destiny.

God has heard your secret cries and is not happy with your pretentious laughter that says, ‘it is well’ when all is not really well.
