DEALING WITH ANCESTRAL LAWS

SCRIPTURES: JOS 9:22-27, ISAIAH 49:24-26, JEREMIAH 35:1-10

And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, drink wine. But they said we will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, you shall drink no wine, neither you nor your sons forever: Neither shall you build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard nor have any: but all your days you shall dwell in tents, that you may live many days in the land where you are strangers. – (Jeremiah 35:5-7 NKJV)

Ignorance is the reason for the sufferings and frustration of many including the children of God. Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge”.

In this Shiloh, I pray that you will encounter revelations that will end your captivity in Jesus name.

Today’s topic will help to unravel the mysteries surrounding the unending issues and situations in lives.

Ancestral laws are words or pronouncements made by our ancestors in the past on various altars or shrines to regulate, control and limit certain life. It includes covenants, vows, promises entered into at one point or the other without minding consequences.

Laws are very powerful and can be in operation for generations.

Ancestral laws manipulate evil patterns in family such as polygamy, divorce, remarriage, late marriage setbacks, non-achievement, poverty, sickness, delay and untimely death etc.

It must be clearly understood that altars are the sponsors of ancestral laws that affects people in life.

Friend, there is something contending with your destiny and it’s from where you  are coming from (Family) and its ancestral laws.

In Jeremiah 35:1-10 a pathetic story of the Rechabites is applicable to many     people of God today. There were laws (ancestral) restraining them totally from  the following blessings in life.

*Celebration (wine)

*Building and owning properties (tents)

*Financial prosperity (seeds)

*Business\investments (vineyards)

The irony of this case is that their generations kept these wicked laws without doing anything or to break it.

What is that law unknown to you that is keeping you in tears, pains, sorrow, suffering and frustration; you can break it, rise and do something now.

PRAYERS

1. Oh Lord, thank you for the revelation of your word today; I refuse to continue in this situation, I need a change now in Jesus name.
2. In the name of Jesus, I receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit to destroy wicked laws in my family hindering my life in any way.
3. I confront wicked laws established by my ancestors; I deploy the blood of Jesus against you. Laws that established the evil pattern, by the blood of Jesus, break!
4. In the name of Jesus, strange strong man in my family sponsoring evil pattern, by the blood of Jesus I destroy your altars and stop your activities. I break your powers right now. Every promise by my ancestors, every covenant by my ancestors that has denied me of what belongs to me, wicked covenants; break!
5. Father, today I confront the powers and the laws of my ancestors that regulates, control, and manipulates marital enjoyments in my family, you law I break now!
6. In the name of Jesus, law of divorce, disfavor and disappointment, I break now!
7. In the name of Jesus, laws that am keeping from ancestors that I will not celebrate, I break now!
8. Any law in my family that forbids building of houses and owning properties, I break in Jesus name.
9. Any law that says I will not succeed, I break it now.
10. Any law that says I cannot have business that will produce wealth, I break in Jesus name.
