DOMINION LIFE THROUGH PRAYERS

SCRIPTURES: GEN 1:2-28, PSALM 8:4-6, JOB 25:2, DEUT 15:6.

We live in a world were wickedness thrive and were evil occurrence is on the rise. The devil being our arch enemy is making consolidated moves by using all forms of onslaught and device against God’s people.

Therefore, if we must place the devil where he belongs then there is need for us to realize that God has given us the power of “DOMINION” over him, his works and all challenges that comes over way.

But to operate in this realm of DOMINION which has been given to us, we must get back to the place of COMMUNION which is the place of prayers.

WHAT IS DOMINION?

DOMINION can be defined as the authority to rule, to reign supremely, to gain control, to govern, to subdue. It also means to be on top, to be in charge or to occupy ultimately.

Dominion is the birthright of the believer in Christ. We were born into the kingdom to dominate on earth, the devil and his cohorts.

God created us to have “DOMINION” over everything that He created (Gen 1:28). It is not God’s will that we be dominated by the devil, sickness and sin. The heavens belongs to God but the earth has He given to the sons of men (Psalms 115:16).

PRAYER

PRAYER is the life wire of the believer in Christ. It is a love walk of relationship between God and man which leaves man on the realms of dominion to operate like God on earth.

Benjamin Franklyn says “work as if you were to live a hundred years and pray as if you were to die tomorrow”. Until you know that life is war, you cannot know what prayer is. Living and walking in DOMINION is a clarion call to the altar of prayers.

Until we descend to the deeper depth of communion with God in the place of prayers, we will not ascend to the higher height of dominion and this will only be possible when we build our residence in his presence and make His presence our priority.

The practice of a prayerful life style guarantees a higher height of dominion life. It is in the place of prayer with God that you receive the grace for dominion life. A consistent prayer life provokes an increase in the grace for dominion life.

The year 2020 has been declared the year of “DOMINION” but dominion life is only guaranteed through the instrumentality of a tested, consistent and rugged prayer life. The bible says “And David enquired (prayed) of the Lord, saying shall i pursue after this troop” shall i over take them and without fail recover all. 1st Sam 30:8.

It was in the place of prayers that David received instruction on how to recover all and this was the secret of his dominion life.

History tells us that Smith Wigglesworth raised about thirteen (13) dead people before he died and walked in a terrific life of dominion. Why? It was said of him that there was hardly any hour that he did not pray to God in a powerful intimate fellowship.

How about John Knox? This man spent eight (8) hours every morning in private prayers of fellowship with God in the forest. He attracted so much grace for dominion that the Queen of Scotland said that she feared the prayer of John Knox more than the armies of Queen Elizabeth of England.

Beloved, it is time to demonstrate and walk in this dominion life through the instrumentality of a rugged and consistent prayer life, what are you waiting for? I hear the spirit of God saying come your time starts now.

HOW TO WALK IN DOMINION THROUGH PRAYERS

1. Know your covenant rights in Christ. 2Peter 1:3
2. Practice speaking the word. Psalm 33:9
3. Spend time in the place of prayer. Luke 6:12
4. Never doubt God’s ability in you. Mark 11:23
5. Do not live a sinful life. Rom 6:14

PRAYERS

1. Father, forgive me of every sin that has broken my altar of prayers. 2Kings 18:30.
2. Father, I take away every veil covering my sight into my covenant right of dominion life. 2Corinth 3:16.
3. Father, I receive understanding into my covenant right of dominion life. Luke 24:45.
4. Father, I bind the spirit of lukewarmness in my life this year. Rev 3:16.
5. Father, I break loose from distraction militating against my prayer life.
6. Father, I reignite the fire on my prayer altar from today. Lev 6:13.
7. Father, I receive the power for dominion life this year through prayers. Luke 10:19.
