Shiloh Programme:
The word, Shiloh is a Hebrew word which means “to be secured, to be in tranquility and to be at rest.

Shiloh is a place you go to take refuge from the storms of life; a place you go and rest and have restoration of your strength to be able to go through the pitfalls of the next endeavour.

Shiloh is a place you are given your portion in life. It was at Shiloh that the last seven tribes of Israel recovered their inheritance.

“And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the Lord in Shiloh. [9]

And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh. And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the Lord: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions”. Joshua 18:8-10

It is a place where denial gives way to divine restoration; a place where you are given your dues and things that Christ purchased for you by His death.

It is a place where you enter into your completeness. Anything that has made your
life incomplete gives way to completeness when you encounter the God of Shiloh.
It was at Shiloh that the 400 virgins were brought as wives for the men of Benjamin who had survived the war. Judges 21:12

Shiloh is a place where individual prayers are answered. Hannah went to Shiloh with an empty womb and came back with a prophet and a priest (I Sam.1:5,19-20).

The God of Shiloh is arising this year with the outpouring of the oil of favour and mercy to cause you to manifest your destiny.

God has heard your secret cries and is not happy with your pretentious laughter that says, ‘it is well’ when all is not really well.

Freedom Convention:
When asked how he get the inspiration for freedom programme the general overseer and presiding Bishop, voice of freedom ministries, Bishop (Dr) Abraham chigbundu enthused that it is as a result of ministering deliverance for a period of ten years that is between 1981-1991 that there were so many outstanding breakthroughs and result (miracles) this brought about the enthusiasm for a bigger audience to come and hear the word and speak only on deliverance. That was how it began.

However the trips to Ghana was the trigger that spurred the General Overseer to action because he was speaking to larger audience in Ghana and when he came back home, he discussed with his brethren on the idea of a crusade(Freedom programme), it was a six day programme of deliverance tagged :Loose Him and Let Him Go. That was how it went up from year to year and in the first few years Guest Speakers were not invited because of the concentration on deliverance.

With time, other speakers from outside were invited to bring in their own area of specialization. Notable Ministers from outside the ministry such as Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, Papa Felix Omobude, Arch-Bishop Margret Benson-Idahosa, Bishop Pius Odioko, Bishop OyonnudeKure, Bishop Fred Addo from Kaduna, Rev (Dr) Gabriel Oduyemi, Prophet Salifu Elisha (Ghana), Bishop Sam Amaga, Rev (Dr) Lawrence Tetteh (London), Rev (Dr) GombaOyor, Prophet Joseph Essien, Evang Cyril Bassey, Bishop Emmah Isong, Rev (Dr) Anthony Akoria, Rev Sam Osaghae, Apostle Johnson Suleman, Evang.(Mrs) Margaret Agbonifo, Bishop Yomi Isijola and Others have ministered at various times within this 20 years of hosting this great convocation of the Saints.

The progamme went from six days to fourteen days at its early stage, now it holds for eight days. It attracted attention of who is who in and around Benin City. It is now a tradition in the voice of Freedom Ministries that when it is getting to the end of Februarys towards March it is time for freedom programme in the Ministry. After a particular freedom programme, more than five hundred converts were baptized and that is how the ministry went on and on with outstanding miracles, the cripple walked, the blind saw and so on. In a particular programme, a young girl vomited old coins and a young man doctors said nothing could be done about his paralyzed face got restored.
The deliverance and the ministrations were outstanding from night till morning and the testimonies overwhelming and these spread around to neighboring states .When it is freedom, they know and come down to the freedom arena because the adverts spreads across to these states and beyond.

When asked about the impetus that encourages the ministry to carry on from one freedom programme to another, the General Overseer said that the tonic that has gingered him to carry this commission. The monumental results recorded in the previous freedom programmes have propelled the General Overseer to extend freeom programmes to cities like Aba (Abia State), Port-Harcourt (River State) and London.

A major aspect of the successes achieved by voice of freedom ministries during the freedom programmes are the overwhelming influence and impact on the ministry both within and outside the shore of this nation.

The lives of many who have truly identified with the Freedom Programmes these past years have been impacted both spiritually and physically.
